It's not like anybody ever raves over my proper use of the active voice or
sagely notes my hard-hitting call to action.
But what I have consistently heard from clients over the years is just as good.
It usually goes something like this: Client "Hey, you really get it!" Me "Wow, thanks."
And that's good. Because, trust me, you don't want to work with a writer who doesn't "get it." Someone who loses sight of the fact that you're the client. Someone who forgets that "sell" is a pretty important concept.
